The Second Sunday of Advent

Today I thought I would share a hymn, in honor of the day.  I have loved this one since I learned it in third grade.  To me it is an example of the mystery that Advent represents.

Have a good Sunday!

Lovely. Dad and I stopped going to the Christmas Eve carol service the year they got new hymnals (the church had burned down, so they needed them) where they'd rewritten all the hymns to be gender neutral. I appreciate the idea behind that, but we just didn't enjoy it so much, y'know?

That was one of the hymns we sang at church this morning.

It always amazes me how many Christmas Carols are out there that I still haven't heard! Thanks for sharing.
