Hello, everyone - I'd like to introduce you to Jack:
He loves to "help" with laundry (what he was doing in the above photo) ... or just about anything.
He's hard to photograph, because he is on the move a lot!
He doesn't stay still for very long. Here is the first time I tried to take his picture.
The Tim was actually able to get this one.
Jack joined our family this past Sunday. He is a tiny boy, only five months old, and has only one eye ... not that he seems to notice at all. He is bouncy, happy, a lovebug, and completely ridiculous. He never, ever seems to stop purring. I will happily write a longer post later about how he came to join us, and what happened with his eye, but I wanted you to meet him and get a look at how cute he is!
In the meantime, we are thrilled ... well, at least The Tim and I are thrilled. The other cats are shocked - SHOCKED I tell you! - that such a thing could happen. There's no growling or hissing though, so it's just a matter of time until it's no big deal that he is here.

Yay! How great that there is no yowling and hissing! Thanks for adopting a special needs kitty (from the mom of another special needs kitty).
Welcome to sweet Jack! Wishing you and your furry family much happiness together!
He is absolutely adorable!!!
Giroux sends his congrats on getting a fur-ever home! One eye or not, things are looking UP!
Oh what a cutie! There's a one-eyed cheetah at the Toronto Zoo... I'm pretty sure his name is Jack too!
Welcome ONE EYED Jack. Im sooooo happy for you and I want to hear all about it. My experience with introducing new cats is slow slow slow. Lots of catnip. Lots of litter boxes. He's a winner!
Howdy, Jack! He looks like a bundle of fun!
Lucky you in the no growling and hissing arena. Our cats still do that after almost 9 years together. Jack looks like a cutie. Funny thing DD#1 just adopted a Jack cat also; the rest of his name is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart though.
Welcome, Jack! You are such a sweetheart -- and you have landed in a wonderful family! Have fun! XO
I had a dog named Jack-welcome to blogland little guy.
Bridget- What a sweetheart. So happy about your new arrival.
Oh my! More cats. How wonderful that you can do that. I can't wait to hear all about how you decided to add to your family.
Welcome Jack! He is just adorable!
Awwww! My favorite cat of all time was one-eyed. I named him Pirate and miss him to this day!
Hi Jack! You are adorable but little boys don't like to be called that. I think you are going to have the best life ever!

Congratulations on your new addition! That's awesome that the senior cats are handling it so well. So many new adventures await!
Congratulations on your new cat! Jack looks like a nimble fellow! I'm glad you're all bringing each other joy. I love the way you described the other cats reaction. I clutched my pearls for the other cats haha!
