Rabbit ears.....with tinfoil that you had to move all over the place to get good reception. I used to love to look in the back of the TV and see all the bulbs light up. I still don't understand how it all works and I never will. It just shouldn't be possible.
Cute comic! I don't remember rabbit ears at home, but I do remember antennas on rooftops. And being without TV because it was "in the shop". Or even having a TV repairman coming to the house to fix the set.

Cute! I am just old enough to know what rabbit ears are! When my parents moved into their house, it still had an external TV antenna. It was the early 2000s but they were already pretty uncommon by then.
