Old Photo Friday - Last Friday of February Edition

This guy is a native of a *real* place we visited - Trujillo Alto in Puerto Rico.  This is from a trip we took for my niece Julie's wedding in 2008.  Since we were going there anyway, we turned it into a little vacation.

One day when we were eating breakfast, I dropped a piece of orange and in record time, someone else claimed it.  :-)

Hope your weekend is full of unexpected treats!

We had these lizards when we lived in Florida. They loved to come in under the door and surprise me. John once tried to suck one up with a Dustbuster, but happily, the lizard eluded capture and I have an amusing memory.

Wow...that is quite the handsome fellow. We used to have two huge iguanas when the kids were young. You should have seen people's faces when they came in and saw those two 5 foot monsters having a snack in the dining room! We killed them with kindness though. We lost them both to fatty livers since we could never get the kids to stop feeding them people food.

I'm not sure how I feel about lizards. I've seen teeny ones at Hilton Head but nothing as big as that!!

We had plenty of those around our Orlando houses. I hope he enjoyed his orangey treat.
