A Very Fine Day

Easter this year was quiet, but extremely pleasant. Though it was a windy day, it was beautiful and clear, with lots of sunshine.

The Easter Bunny made it to our house, which is of course always a good thing!

Garden Kitty: This better not have anything extra in it, different from my basket!

Jetsam: I wonder if you can eat the basket too ...

Everyone was quite pleased with their goodies.

(Tess wanted me to show you her individual picture so you can see that she does in fact have ears, since the photo above cut them off!)

It was a perfect day to go for a leisurely walk, and even though the wind made it feel even cooler than it was, there were sure signs of spring:

Later in the day, I finished a knitting project, Ivy's Cowl, that I started a few days ago. It is currently blocking, so once that is finished, I'll post a picture. I'm quite pleased with the results.

And, best of all, yesterday marked the five-year anniversary of my first surgery (aka The Rearranging of the Innards). All the better reason to break our Lenten fast with a glass of wine!

Pretty trees!

Aw, cats and their Easter baskets.

Yay for the rearranging of the innards and anniversaries of them!

Looking forward to the unveiling of the blocked cowl.

Bridget- I don't think Kitten-Chow should see that the Fur Patrol got a visit from the bunny.

You have blossoms? Already?

Cheers to the innnards!

Another yay for anniversaries of innards rearranging. And many happy, healthy returns of the day.

Yeah, the guys want to know what's up with this Easter "Bunny" dude. Gandalf wants to know if he's the same as Santa??!

Rearranging of the innards? LOL! I wonder if it's the same rearranging of the innards I had in 2001...
